We have heard some teams have had some difficulty renting beach houses this year. That is a direct result of a few teams who chose to disregard our encouragement last year to respect both the rental properties and their neighbors. Their unfortunate actions have ostracized us from Jekyll Island. Here are a couple of optioins to assure we continue to have lodging options at St Simons and the Brunswick area:
- For those of you who are unwilling to adapt your behavior to the expectations of the rental companies: Stay at a hotel, camp, or stay home. You are ruining a great thing for all of us!
- For those of you who are willing to behave under the rental companies' terms: Please give them your school's name, so that your good behavior will guarantee your team will be welcome back long into the future of High Tide.
